1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website or ExamReady at examready.deanquartermaineaccountancytuition.co.uk, both run by Dean Quartermaine Accountancy Tuition (“we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an ExamReady account or making a purchase, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
2. Free resources on this website
Revision posters and other free downloads may be saved and printed for your own study. Please do not resell, alter or redistribute them.
3. What ExamReady provides
ExamReady is an online service with practice questions and timed mock exams for AAT units. Questions are generated from templates, so the figures change each time. Answers are marked straight away with workings, your progress is tracked by topic, and each unit has a timed mock exam. The units available are listed on the ExamReady page.
ExamReady is independent study material. It is not an official AAT assessment, is not produced, endorsed or approved by AAT, and does not guarantee an examination pass.
We may add, correct, update or remove questions and units to keep them accurate and useful. We aim to keep ExamReady available, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
4. Your ExamReady account
You can try a sample question from each unit without an account. You need a free account to choose your free unit, save your progress, sit mock exams and buy access to more units.
- Give a real name and an email address you can access, and keep your password private.
- An account is for one person. Do not share your login or let others use your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account page. This permanently deletes your answers, mock results and any units you have unlocked, including paid units, and they cannot be restored.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, for example by sharing access or copying content. If we close an account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund any amount required by law.
5. Free unit and prices
Every account can choose one unit to keep free. Further units can be unlocked one at a time, a whole level at once, or all units at once. Level 4 has two separate level bundles: one for the Q2022 Diploma in Professional Accounting units, and one for the Professional Accounting Technician units. Prices are shown in pounds sterling on the ExamReady page and at checkout. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
Every unlock is a one-off payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. Promotion codes can be entered at checkout and apply only on their own stated conditions, such as an expiry date or minimum order.
6. Payment
Payments are taken by Stripe on its secure checkout page. We do not see or store your full card details. Your order is complete when Stripe confirms your payment, and the units you bought are then unlocked on your account.
7. How long access lasts
Units you unlock stay on your account for as long as your account exists and we run ExamReady. Unlocking a whole level includes any units added to that level bundle later. A Level 4 bundle covers only the units of its own qualification. Unlocking everything includes every unit at every level, including units added later.
If we ever decide to close ExamReady, we will give account holders reasonable notice by email.
8. Your right to cancel
Under UK consumer law, you normally have 14 days from your purchase to cancel and receive a full refund. If you asked for access to start straight away and confirmed at checkout that you understood you would lose this right once access began, you will not be able to cancel after the units are unlocked.
To cancel, email hello@deanquartermaineaccountancytuition.co.uk with the email address on your ExamReady account and the date of your purchase. We will refund you using the original payment method within 14 days of agreeing the cancellation, and remove the cancelled units from your account.
9. If something is wrong
ExamReady must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If it is not, for example because a unit does not unlock or a question is materially wrong, please tell us. You can report a question directly from ExamReady. We will fix the problem or, where we cannot do that within a reasonable time, give you a full or partial refund as the law requires. This does not affect your statutory rights.
10. Invite a friend
You can share your personal invite link with other learners. When a friend creates an account with your link and then makes their first purchase, you can choose one extra unit to add to your account for free. Your friend will see your first name on the sign-up page. Rewards have no cash value. We may change or end the scheme, and we may withhold rewards gained by misuse, such as inviting yourself.
11. Acceptable use
Your access is for your own study. You must not:
- share your account, or copy, record, publish or sell questions, answers or workings from ExamReady;
- use automated tools to access, copy or collect content;
- attempt to get around access controls, payments or time limits; or
- use ExamReady to provide paid teaching or commercial training without our written permission.
12. Automated and AI marking
Most answers are marked automatically against the correct figures. Some written answers are marked by an AI model against set marking points. Automated marking can occasionally be wrong. If you think a mark is wrong, please report the question.
13. Educational accuracy
We take reasonable care to make our resources accurate. Accounting, tax and assessment requirements can change. The tax units use the Finance Act shown in ExamReady. Always check the current AAT specification, relevant legislation and your training provider’s guidance.
14. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, all website and ExamReady content, including questions, templates, workings and revision materials, is owned by or licensed to Dean Quartermaine Accountancy Tuition and is protected by intellectual property law. Buying access does not transfer ownership of any content.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not responsible for examination results, indirect losses, loss caused by misuse of our resources, or problems caused by events outside our reasonable control.
16. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms when our services or the law change. The version in force when you make a purchase applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and your consumer rights are unaffected.
