1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use this website and will apply to future digital mock-exam purchases from Dean Quartermaine Accountancy Tuition (“we”, “us” or “our”). By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
2. Our digital products
We plan to sell downloadable educational resources, including mock examinations, supporting information and model answers. These products are currently marked as coming soon. Product descriptions explain what is included. Product images are illustrative and the precise layout may vary.
Our resources are independent study materials. They are not official AAT assessments, are not endorsed by AAT and do not guarantee an examination pass.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and the price displayed at checkout is the price payable. Payment will be processed securely by Payhip and its payment providers. We do not directly receive or store your full card details.
4. Orders and delivery
An order is accepted when payment is successfully completed and the download is made available. Payhip will normally display a download page and send access details to the email address used at checkout. You are responsible for entering a correct email address.
Please contact hello@deanquartermaineaccountancy.co.uk if you pay but cannot access the product.
5. Personal-use licence
Your purchase gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the resource for your own study. You must not:
- share, forward, upload or resell the files;
- copy or distribute the questions or model answers to other learners;
- remove ownership notices, watermarks or identifying details; or
- use the resource to provide paid teaching or commercial training without written permission.
6. Digital content and cancellation
Digital products are supplied promptly after payment. At checkout you may be asked to expressly consent to delivery beginning immediately and to acknowledge that, once the download or access begins, any statutory cancellation right may be lost where the law allows this.
This does not affect your statutory rights where digital content is faulty, not as described or cannot be accessed.
7. Refunds
Because the products are digital downloads, change-of-mind refunds are not normally offered after access or download has begun. We will consider a replacement, technical solution or refund where required by law, including where the file is materially faulty, duplicated in error or not supplied as described.
Refund requests should be sent to hello@deanquartermaineaccountancy.co.uk with the purchaser’s name, order email, product and order reference.
8. Educational accuracy
We take reasonable care to make resources accurate at the date shown. Accounting, tax and assessment requirements can change. You should check the current AAT specification, relevant legislation and your training provider’s guidance before relying on any resource.
9. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, all website content and digital resources are owned by or licensed to Dean Quartermaine Accountancy Tuition and are protected by intellectual property law. Purchasing a resource does not transfer ownership of the content.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not responsible for examination results, indirect losses, loss caused by misuse of a resource, or problems caused by third-party services outside our reasonable control.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms when the products, website or law changes. The version in force when you place an order applies to that purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@deanquartermaineaccountancy.co.uk.
